David Gray氏の観測は、肉眼での見え方を忠実に描いていると思う。日本からは気流が良い時には、まさしくこのような姿に見える。
Tithonius Lacusを北側から取り囲むように明部が記録されている。
熊森氏の画像ではHellespontusに斜めに走る黄色く細いバンドが見えているが、これはダストストームだ。ちょうどこの日に発生して、
少し広がった様子が見事に記録されている。安達は肉眼で見ているが、明るく記録できている。眼視観測でもみえていたことが分かる。
I think David Gray's observations are faithfully depicting how it looks with the visual view. From Japan, when the seeing is good, it looks like
this indeed. The light part is recorded so as to surround Tithonius Lacus from the north side.
Kumamori 's image shows a thin yellow band running obliquely to Hellespontus, but this is a dust storm. Just occurred on this day,
the appearance of a slight spread has been recorded spectacularly. Adachi is seeing with the visual observation, but it is brightly recorded.
It is understood that this state was seen also by visual observation.

Following on from Saturn I was pleasantly surprised that the CA cancelling
I applied with that worked quite well with Mars too. As I described there:
“Using the residual CA in the optical train (Amici & Binovu)
I was just able to cancel the atmospheric dispersion by placing Saturn in the south part of the field;
similar to using the old trick with a Ramsden eyepiece.
Also the apodizer was suited by the type of seeing that developed.
Fog came in pretty soon after I got Mars!”

昨夜よりシーイングは回復し、まずまずの写りとなりました。

眼視でもほどよく模様が確認できるようになってまいりました。
極地方が変な感じの像となってしまい困り果てておりまして・・・・・・･。

南極雲が広い範囲になっている。中央が明るく見える。Hellasがやたらと暗く、輪郭がかろうじて見える程度だった。
