解説(安達)/ Comment by Makoto Adachi
Today I got a lot of observation reports. Each observer is observing a dense cloud at the northern limit of the SPC. Although there is
no conspicuous phenomenon,it shows that Ausonia is clarifying the red figure, and the SPC is getting close to appearing. Clouds are
blurred around the Antarctic hood, and it turns out that the SPC is not completely visible yet.

Mars this morning. Interesting how the different planets seem to respond to atmospheric seeing conditions.
I was up 4.00am for my second session of the night to catch Saturn and Mars.
The first session was just after midnight for Jupiter.
Saturn was so badly affected by the atrocious seeing that I don’t think I will get anything significant out,
and I was tempted to close up and go back to bed. However, despite these conditions,
I was able to squeeze the attached image set out for Mars.
It seems that Mars handles the bad seeing better than Saturn,
unless there was a sudden improvement in conditions(possible).

Many details visible for a 10.8 "arc image.
Nous Meridiani and Sinus Sanaeus stand out in the foreground in this photo.
Hellas easily visible at 4am but seemingly without much frozen mist losing its characteristic white color.
Syrtis Major heading toward the center of the disk and south polar cap visible.
What I thought at the beginning being an edge ring artifact actually is a dark region or
prolongation of Ismenius Lacus that is situated exactly on the upper left edge.

This image is showing Solis Lacus setting and also the Tharsis region and Olympus Mons.
There are subtle clouds over Tharsis so this one was difficult to process to balance surface details with the clouds still showing.
I tried using an extender tube this time but still don't have the optimal FL yet, will keep working on it.

久しぶりに良いシーイングになった。ソリス辺りは暗く非常に分かりづらいが、何とか見ることができた。南極冠だと思われる姿になった。

Some moments of good seeing on the 28th allowed for a lovely view of the Syrtis Major region of the planet. Very little cloud activity.

Nice seeing.
