Comment by Makoto Adachi
Today it was an observation report only in the area centered on Solis Lacus.
As far as you see Mr. Alexei Pace 's image,
there is no dust storm in the center and in the center of Mare Cimmerium. It seems that dust veil is not a dust storm in the vicinity of
Elysium as yellowish.
Japanese Mr. Ota,Clyde Foster, and Szeto Koon Chuen observe the very early dust storms that grew extremely brightly on Solis Lacus.
It seems that it will go westward from now as seen from shape etc. On the east side of this dust storm,it is interesting that three belts line up
north and south, looking like fish bones. There is a possibility that the wind that went westward was made influenced by the topography.
The dust storm seen in Ganges the previous day has no movement and seems to have stopped in this area. The dust storm that entered
Tempe seems to be a little weakened as the tip diffuses.

First Mars images for this apparition, unfortunately not very high from Malta at 32°.
Leftmost image is in RGB (true colour),central one is through an IR filter and the last image is in false colour IRRGB,
not my favourite but gives a different perspective.

Seeing was poor. A bright area (dust storm?) which haven't seen on images taken on 09 Jun is appeared on this image.

Mars last night. I was up a bit earlier(Mars at lower elevation),but was met with what can only be described as terrible seeing conditions.
IR came out best, but I was limited to using only 10% of the RGB channel captures, and it was a struggle to get anything decent out.
Tharsis appears to remain relatively clear(although maybe lower contrast than normal?).
The main storm region is still to rotate into view, although there are hints of dust activity along the terminator,
most notable along the Vallis Marineris complex.
The most notable feature is the dust activity over Solis Lacus, which appears to have a concentrated centre surrounded by a wider dust cloud.
Hoping for better seeing in the coming days.

Lots of dust.
