Syrtis Major先端に見られたダストスポットはほとんどわからなくなり、拡散したらしい。今まで比較的暗く見えていたが、今日は
濃さが低くなっている。Arabia側の明るいベルト状の輪郭はまだ見ることができる。6月23日の形状とは異なるため、まだ大気中の
現象だと思われる。
6月23日のSolis Lacus南方の黒い筋は、濃さが淡くなり、南からの吹き出し？が弱まったように見える。一方、Hellespontusには
新たな晴れ間ができた。南極冠もこの部分で晴れ間ができ、白く明るい姿が見えるようになっている。南極からの寒気の吹き出しによるものだろう。
Christopher Go氏の画像では南極冠から少し離れた部分に広がる白雲を記録している。明らかにダークフリンジよりも北側にはみ出している。
熊森氏の青画像でもその様子がよくわかる。南極冠からの冷気による白雲の発生だろう。南極冠の周りにはこういう白雲がよく出ているようで、
明け方の西のエッジ付近は、明るい白雲の見られることが多くなっている。
6月22日にMare Sirenumの南側にできたダストストームは一段と発達して、北に拡大している様子が見られる。Efrain Morales Rivera氏
の画像でその様子が確認できる。
The dust spot seen at the tip of Syrtis Major became almost unknown,it seems that it diffused. It looked relatively dark until now,
but today the density is low. You can still see the bright belt-shaped outline on Arabia side. Because it is different from the shape on June 23,
it seems to be still a phenomenon in the atmosphere.
The black streaks in the south of Solis Lacus on 23rd June are lighter in density,and a speech bubble from the south? It seems weakened.
On the other hand,Hellespontus has a new sunset. The SPC also has sunny spots in this part,making it appear white and bright. It would be due
to the cold airing blows from Antarctica.

Not so clear this night,hazy,though seeing was fair. So I’m not quite sure if this rather diffuse-looking disk,
with much less albedo contrast than on the 22nd,is really the state of Mars at the moment,or if it is due to my conditions.
Solis Lacus and Mare Erythraem are hardly visible.

Seeing was almost perfect today.
Unfortunately this is the area which has really been affected by the dust storm.
Mare Cimmerium is hardly recognizable due to the dust.
Sinus Gomer is faintly visible now as the dust clears up.
Hellas is in the lower left and it is very bright due to dust.
Syrtis Major is rising on the left. Elysium is still covered with dust.

The jet stream took a break and seeing was pretty decent.
I also took some RGB images with the 290MM,but so far the 224MC is outperforming the 290MM in terms of contrast and sharp blue channels (but a smaller image size!).

Mars transits at less than 12 degree altitude
from here so the conditions are difficult with constant heavy turbulence,
the seeing has generally not been better than 2/10.

観測の最終にSyrtis Majorが見えてきて、ようやく位置をつかんだ。
位置の確認をするにしても目立ったものがないと、何処を見ているのか分からないことが多い。
今日も南極冠は形を見ることができなかった。
