Hellasの北側に、ＳＰＣの明るい部分が見えているが、ちょうどミッチェル山の位置になる部分が明るくなっている。また、
Aoniusの北にあった明るい部分は少し小さくなった。Noachis南西部と今日も3か所、晴れて白い部分が見える。
Mare Sirenumの中央に小さなダストストームが見られ、Mare Sirenumが2つに分かれているように見える。7月21日にEridaniaの
北のダストストームには変化は見られなかった。
On the northern side of Hellas,the bright part of SPC is visible,but the part where Mitchell Mountain is located is bright. Also,
the bright part that was in the north of Aonius got a little smaller. Noachis There are also 3 southeastern parts and today,
sunny and white parts can be seen.
There is a small dust storm in the center of Mare Sirenum,and Mare Sirenum seems to be divided into two. No change was seen
on the dust storm north of Eridania on July 21.

Hi all,some excellent seeing last night despite elevation of 18 to 16° only.
While the storms are clearly over now,the constrast in visible wavelengths remains weak,and visually,
I did not see any difference from the past weeks. Only the new dark Daedalia/Araxas marking could be glimpsed.
I have added images taken with narrow B bandpass filters in order to try to detect auroras.
None is seen here certainly but the filters prove very effective for subtle white clouds detection especially the 425.

Hellas Basin at lower right is extremely bright in IR,due to dust I guess.

ほぼ無風状態でしたが、シーイングはそれほどでは無かった。IRでの撮影はいつもと同じで99FPSで120秒でしたが、
キャプチャできたのは399フレームだけでした。ファイルサイズ的には12000フレーム分ほどあるのに？？？
Dust Stormの濃さに変化は無さそうで、大シルティスが微かに写る程度でしたが、ヘラス盆地はかなり明るく写りました。

Not the greatest conditions but can see what is going on this side of Mars in the image.
The dark hole in the SPC on the far side is prominent,and the SPC area adjacent to Hellas seems still covered in dust.

The SPC remains complex in IR and R. Argyre at upper centre and Valles Marineris stretches across the centre of the image.
Out of interest,almost the whole session last night was done by remote operation of the observatory from my study. It was all a bit more comfortable than normal!

7月6日のキュリオシティ最新情報(NASA MARS ROVER Curiosity: Mission Update)、"Sol 2104-06: Have we reached the peak?"によると、ここ2週間、ゲールクレータのダスト量は減りつつあり、峠を越した
(The amount of dust over Gale Crater has been slowly declining over the last two weeks and it's possible the dust storm has reached its "peak" )とのことです。それでも、なかなか模様ははっきり見えませんでした。
漸く、今週になって、私のカラーカメラでも模様が薄っすらと写り始めました。眼視でも辛うじて見え始めました。赤かオレンジ色のフィルタを使うと模様が少しだけ濃く見えます。
徐々にダストの靄が薄らぎ始めたようです。 21日に柚木さんが「撮影時、モニター上でヘラスがとても明るく感じる」とコメントされていました。
私のカメラでもヘラスが少しだけ明るく写っています。マカリで輝度を調べると、赤のチャンネルで左上のヘラス平原の一部が、右下のアラビア大陸よりも少し明るくなっています。

Some reasonable seeing for 15 degrees altitude last night. A good session.
Mars beginning to show more detail in both IR and colour images. Hard to recognise the surface features.

久しぶりに風が弱まり自作ドブソニアンで撮像できました。酷暑の割に気流がそれほどよくありません。
眼視では極冠を除いてほとんど模様が見えませんでした。
