Comment by Makoto Adachi
The dust storm formed in the east of Daedaria grew bigger. On the 29th,it was divided into two large and small light spots, but
today it has gathered together one by one.
In other areas,no major change was seen.

A quick process from half an hour ago- Looks like a new dust outbreak in the Solis Lacus region.
A further IR capture of the new dust outbreak north of Solis Lacus.
I have seen an image by Conrado Serodio indicating that the storm initiated over 24h ago
(but I have not seen it on any images before that as yet)
RGB and IR image set from early this morning with the new dust outbreak just north of Solis Lacus.
Mars image set from yesterday evening. Provided conditions are reasonable this evening, this will be one of two sets of images straddling Mars’ closest approach.
S Sabeaus/S Meridiani showing some, albeit slow, return towards normality, but the Margarifiter extension remains affected.

Syrtis Major
