Sinus Margaritifer付近のダストストームは西側に広がりつつある。
Mare Acidariumの北側はよく晴れており、黒々と見えている。ＳＰＣの周りはダークフリンジがよく見えるようになってきた。
遠藤氏はHellasの南側にミッチェル山の姿を記録している。
The dust storm near Sinus Margaritifer is spreading to the west side.
The northern side of Mare Acidarium is well sunny
and looks black. Dark fringe around SPC has come to look better. Mr. Endo is recording the figure of Mt. Mitchell on the south side of Hellas.

風が強く透明度は非常に良かったですが、シーイングが悪いです。一時的に改善した時に撮像しました。
眼視では模様が淡く形状がつかみにくいです。南極冠はくっきり見え、北極地方がやや青白く見えます。

模様が従来の濃い部分にクレーターや低地にダストが堆積して明るく見える部分を合成したような見え方になっているように思います。
≪埼玉県越谷市 遠藤宏次≫[Koji Endo : Saitama Japan]
SPCの北縁が65°S あたりになっている。高度の高い領域が白が強く北に張り出して見える。北極周辺のAcidaliaが異様に暗く見える。
オゾンホールのようにダストが抜けた領域なのか？ S:4/10 T:4/10 透明度が上がらずクリアに見えない。雲が多くあきらめかけたがほんの少しの雲間があった。

上空は透明度が良かったものの遠方の台風が影響してか低層雲の流れが早く、透明度、シーイングとも変動が大きかった。
30分近く撮影したうちの3ショットのみを採用しました。

Image set from yesterday evening,looking down onto Olympus Mons and the Tharsis Montes,with Solis Lacus at upper left.
On screen,I had the impression that conditions had deteriorated from previous evenings,so was pleased with the final results.
The light linear feature I had noted the previous evening can be seen towards the bottom left limb.

約１ヶ月ぶりの報告になります。何度か撮像を試みましたが、シーイングに恵まれず報告出来るような画像を取得出来ない日が続いていました。
久し振りの火星は、視直径が一回り小さくなり、南極冠も収縮しましたが、南極冠の輝度はアップしている様に感じます。北極地方の濃く暗い模様は、非常に目立ちます。

台風接近で上空は強い南風が流れ、シーイングは最悪一歩手前でした。

途中で雲が来て、見えなくなったりしましたが、気流はかなり良かったです。
サバ人の湾など、眼視でも見えてきました。マルチバンドシャープ（MBS）を掛けると、細部はクッキリしますが、大きな模様がとらえにくい感じです。
掛けてない画像も付けました。

A selection of Mars images from August 21st 2018...short periods of good seeing amongst a lot of dross...I present a large & capture scale rgb,
as well as the rgb along with the single channels & two iR610nm images at capture in the composite image:
in these & the 25th August images the string of 4 craters running North-East from the Eastern "rim" of the Argyre Basin (Galle,Wirtz,Helmholtz & Lohse) can still be seen despite some form of decrease in the abedo/contrast between them & the adjacent areas.
Also,a short animation in the B channel where the North Polar Hood clouds can be seen moving...
