鈴木氏の画像ではMare Sirenum付近にできたダストストームの広がりを良く記録できている。
北半球ではElysium付近がリムで黄色くなっている様子が記録された。この付近にはダストベールが広がっているようだ。Mare Tyrrhenum
一帯が淡くなっており、この付近にも広がっている様子が分かる。Mare Sirenum南方からのダストストームは淡くなったが、Eridania
南方までは、はっきりと認められる。この様子を記録した柚木氏の画像には,Phaethontis付近もダストベールに覆われている様子を記録
している。
In Mr. Suzuki 's image, I can record the spread of the dust storm near Mare Sirenum well.
In the Northern Hemisphere, the appearance
that the Elysium area is yellowing on the limb was recorded. It seems that dust veil spreads near here. The area of Mare Tyrrhenum is fading
and you can see how it spreads around here. Mare Sirenum The dust storm from the south became faint, but until the south of Eridania
it is clearly recognized. In the image of Mr. Yunoki who recorded this state, Phaethontis' s vicinity is also covered with dust veil.

天候、シーイングがよくなく、火星は遠のくし残念な日々の延長でした。

SPCの北縁の南に狭域のダスト明班がある。Promethei から東のダストは薄く拡がる。Hellasの明領域はダストの色味が強い。
ElysiumMonsの頂部の薄い赤みが見える。北極方向の雲は少し濃くなった。S:4/10 T:6/10

昨夜より透明度が悪くなり、撮影後は曇ってしまいました。

Mars imaged with 742nm filter to start with on 9th October. Seeing then
deteriorated so just left with the IR I'm afraid. Really gibbous now!

Attache dis an observation I made of Mars with Dr Hugh Sasse on 9th October at the University of Leicester Observatory.
Seeing conditions were quite reasonable for a time and I was able to see a number of interesting features:
Drawing 1 (IL):
- SPC very bright tonight- it seems that Argyre was also quite bright.
-Intersting structures in Mare Erythraeum,Aurorae Sinus quite dark.
-Dark streak present in the Ganges.
-New darker section present on the prec. end of Niliacus Lacus?
-Prec. limb quite bright.
Drawing 2 (W#80A):
-The light blue filter seems to show brightnesses in Agyre,Ogygis Regio and the prec. limb.
-SPC also bright in this filter.

久しぶりにまともな観測ができた。シーイングが良くてよく見える。Hellasの中の淡い模様も確認できた。結構見えやすくなっていることが分かった。
南半球は北半球よりも若干赤っぽい。北半球は黄色っぽく見える。Syrtis majorの北半分はぼんやりしており、ダストストームに覆われている様子が見える。
