佐藤氏の画像では、ＳＰＣの周囲にある白雲の様子が良く記録されている。この画像にはArgyre盆地の白雲もリムの上で観測されている。
石橋氏や岩政氏の画像ではArsia Silva Monsから東に伸びた白雲が記録されている。探査機の撮像した、細長い雲の記録である。
In the image of Mr. Sato,the appearance of white cloud surrounding the SPC is well recorded. Blue clouds in the Argyre basin are
also observed on the limb in this image.
In the images of Mr. Ishibashi and Mr. Iwamasa,white clouds extending to the east from Arsia Silva Mons are recorded. It is
a record of an elongated cloud captured by a spacecraft.

SPCの中心は東に偏って見える。Sirenum,Aonia（60°-70°S）にはダストが広がる。Argyreが明るく欠け際に見える。
ArsiaMonsから白い雲が西方向にある。RやIRでは暗い影があるように見える。S:3-4/10 T:6/10

Solis Lacusを正面から見たが、ぼんやりしていて見えにくい。特に濃い部分はなく、余計にはっきりしない。
相変わらずThaumashiaは暗い。終わりになって気流が良くなったが、高度が低く、観測は困難になった。

Attached is a drawing of Mars I made on 22nd October with my 203mm Newtonian reflector.
Seeing was around AIV but there were a few steady moments. Points of interest include:
・SPC bright with thin Lowell band present.
・Hellas basin fairly bright and yellowish in colour
・Mare Hadriacum fairly well defined.
・Mare Tyrrhenum also quite dark and well defined. Probably the darkest feature present on the disk.
・Syrtis Major still quite weak.
・Prec,limb seemed to be rather bright.
