Comment by Makoto Adachi
Looking at the image of Mr. Einaga, the tip of Syrtis Major is clear in IR, but it is faint in G image and it is clear that it is covered
with dust veil. Since the brightness of the SPC is low, the state around the SPC is well recorded. According to it, the mist spreads around
the SPC, and no bright part with a bright white cloud is visible. By image processing, a white cloud pattern is well recorded around this,
but it is clear that this is not an actual one.

Sky seeing conditions improved after a heavy thunderstorm in the afternoon and that helped to clean the atmosphere.
Temperature was 23,5 Celsius without wind at the time of the observation session.

I was quite surprised how good the seeing conditions were- with powers of x250 and x312 quite a bit of detail was visible on the disk even though the apparent disk size is now 8.4".
Main points of interest include:
- Bright SPC.
- The preceding limb was quite bright, and there seemed to be bright clouds close to the preceding limb to the south of Solis Lacus.
- Solis Lacus the main feature on show. The Mire Sirenum was also visible along with Mare Australe.
- Drawing 2 shows a vague streak to the north.
- Although seeing was good, alas I could not see any sound of the possible limb cloud extension over the SPC.
