Unfortunately I had significantly poorer seeing than yesterday,with fast moving cloud also having a negative influence.
A pity,as I was hoping to catch a good view of the region around the GRS.
Despite this the Oval BA can be clearly seen in the IR to the lower right of the GRS,having passed below the GRS during solar conjunction.
It can also just be made out in the RGB image.

The North Temperate Belt appears to have completely faded.
The North Equatorial Belt is very dark.
The Equatorial Zone appears to have continued to darken through solar conjunction.
The Great Red Spot potentially has no wake trailing it.

son.
Here is my first image of Jupiter for this season. Imaging was a bit challenging because Jupiter is so low in the sky, l
ess than 25 deg! Seeing was terrible but I had to capture something.
The GRS and Oval BA can be seen on these images. The GRS still has very strong orange color. One thing interesting is th
at Oval BA looks WHITE! This is probably due to the quality of the image. In Methane Band, BA is not as bright as before
. JUNO's PJ17 images has confirmed that Oval BA has indeed reverted to its white color! I had already suspected this be
fore the release of the PJ17 images because of the methane band brightness of Oval BA. Will Oval BA go red again?
The entire EZ has a dark yellow color with the EZs having a reddish hue.
FYI, those who are using QHY series 3 cameras should update to the latest Windows 10 driver. I went crazy this morning w
hen my laptop refuses to recognize my camera! Fortunately, the latest Win 10 driver fixed this problem.
