I only had one useable set of RGB data from the session this morning, which was negatively impacted by Jetstream.
It was however good enough to capture the significant flake that is peeling off the following edge of the GRS.
This was also seen in images by Chris Go,
Anthony Wesley and Andy Casely from the previous rotation on 17 May.
IR data was too poor, but the CH4 also clearly shows the flake which is substantial at this wavelength.
There is more activity in the SEBs which is approaching the GRS hollow,so I anticipate additional GRS action in coming days.
Bright outbreak nf the GRS

A second image set from 18 May. Jetstream was present and I was again only able to use one set of RGB data from quite a few captures.
I have pushed the processing a little harder than normal to try and eke out what detail I could.
This set is two rotations after the early morning set I have previously send,
and during this period there has been significant development of the large flake that is peeling off the following edge of the GRS.
The flake shows strongly as a reddish extension in the RGB and is quite striking in the CH4 image.
I must apologise for a lack of coverage of the rest of the planet.
I have become rather intrigued with the activity in the GRS region particularly relating to the regressing SEBs rings
and the GRS flakes and am trying to monitor these developments as comprehensively as possible.
My alarm clock is currently being set on the basis of GRS transit timing so I am on a rather inconsistent sleep pattern!

May 18,21:59UT in good seeing. Jupiter is 28 degrees altitude for this capture.
There is some interesting activity on the side of the GRS.
