5/22頃に大赤斑前方に大きな赤いflakeが出現したあたりから、
大赤斑が著しく小さくなりつつあります。
以前は、14°前後を維持していましたが、20日以降は12°台が多くなりました。
最低は24日のLamyの画像の11.5°で、大赤斑の最低記録を更新しました。

大赤斑は、どうなってしまうのでしょう？
SEBsの暗斑はまだひとつ残っています。大赤斑との会合は6月上旬と思われます。

これだけ激しくかき回されながら、どうして大赤斑は赤いままなのでしょう？
ひと昔前なら、間違いなく淡化していたはずです。
これまでの大赤斑に関する常識が、まったく通用しなくなっています。
