天気と大赤斑との関係で、ずいぶんと早い時間(超低空)で撮影しました。
しかし意外と高度18度程度にしては良い気流だと思います。
大赤斑は元気です(^^;
大赤斑南側にフレークが差し掛かっている状態なのでしょうか。

Hi all, here are images of Jupiter from this evening, once again the
session was badly disrupted due to jetstream clouds and poor seeing.
However the GRS was visible and I was able to capture some data in a
brief period of stable seeing.

The IR-G-B image highlights the GRS and it's distorted shape. It no
longer seems to sit in the middle of the surrounding circulation, and
something is clearly happening along its southern edge where red
material can be seen spilling out into the surrounding white zone. The
GRS also appears noticeably smaller than I remember but whether this is
partially due to obscuring high cloud I can't tell.

The remnants of the last shedding event can still be seen off to the
right of the GRS in the CH4 image as an isolated bright spot and it
seems to be forming into its own system.

The CH4 image also shows the very disorganized shape of the GRS and
surrounding material. It looks like a misshapen blob.

I'll be watching with interest to see how the GRS evolves while Leisa

GRS が端に見えたので、うすい雲を通してですが撮影してみました。ゲインをかなりあげているので画像が粗くなっています。

Imaged Jupiter May 30th,seeing was soft with only 685nm IR and Ch4 worth the effort of processing.
That said there is a quiet reasonable depth of resolved detail in both the IR and Methane.

A regrettably poor quality set of images from last night, captured under severe Jetstream conditions, but submitting for the record.
In discussion with fellow amateurs, there was the expectation that the latest flake may be due to reappear at the sp edge of the GRS.
Despite the low quality images, this indeed appears to be happening as seen in the CH4 image.
I am hoping other imagers(and myself, although similar conditions are forecast for this evening)
may be able to get better data over the next 24h to provide a clearer picture of what is happening.

Terrible seeing. Images submitted largely for the record, some hint of a bright area within the GRS in IR,
and the dark rim of the GRS is less distinct on the N side.

Here are Jupiter images from May 30 in average seeing and a whole lot of clouds. Oval BA is well placed.
