Conditions were not great despite of clear sky,low humidity and no wind that made the night very pleasant and calm.
Epsilon Crucis and the four stars of Musca were easily seen.
It happens that the upper atmosphere was turbulent due to the active jet stream, not strong but enough to wash and flush Jupiter details most of the time.

Hi all,the GRS was available early at my location last night - seeing
was not so good but here are the early images showing the GRS and
surrounds in IR750 longpass,Methane (889nm) and false colour IR-G-B.

Opposition image set from yesterday evening. The GRS certainly seems to be quieter.
With no imminent SEBs rings,
I will settle into a more regular sleep pattern which will allow more coverage of the rest of the planet.
But I will definitely catch the GRS when the opportunity arises.

Poor to fair seeing. Nothing since due to solid unbroken jetstream conditions over Chile (been very bad this winter.)
