Frustrating night. Seeing was fair but transparency was poor.
I was only able to capture a set of RGB due to clouds.
The GRS is very round now. Note the red ovals and material on the f side of the GRS.
This feature is very bright in methane band.
Note the dark ring on the GRS halo around the GRS.
Note the methane bright feature on the SEBn on the right.

I still can not take a photo with this telescope in good conditions of capture, there is always something that gets in the way, clouds, humidity, bad seeing, etc.
Even though he pleased me a lot,I believe I have finally found the right tele for field trips.

久々の晴天で撮像できました。大赤斑前後でした。

Processing some CH4 data from last night I've found a faint intruder
which I assume is one of the non-galilean moons, but it may also be a
faint star or asteroid. I don't know how to identify this, can anyone
recommend some free software that will show me the faint moons?
Attached is a 2-frame animation with the object marked at lower left.
Hi all, here are three images of Jupiter from last night in true colour
(RGB),methane absorption (CH4) and near-infrared (IR750). Seeing was
quite steady at times for these. In the colour image the GRS has an a
slightly squashed hexagonal appearance.
Also note the continued existence of material pulled from the GRS some
time ago, best seen in the CH4 image as a ribbon of bright cloud to the
right of the GRS.
I took your image and scaled/overlaid it onto mine, and the star that matches best is the one closer to Jupiter,
it's almost an exact match,I think well within the margin of error given the fast relative motion.

I was hoping to catch a nice view of one of the transits (Io and its shadow in the earlier RGB) close to opposition,
but the seeing conditions came close to wiping out the session.
I had a short spell of half reasonable seeing for the second RGB. Yet another tribute to AS3!,Registax and Winjupos.
The times in the subject line of my earlier email were incorrect and should have read:
Jupiter 13 June 2231UT 2328UT RGB 2305UT CH4.
Information on the images should be correct.
I also attach two IR images from last night. Low resolution due to very poor seeing conditions.
Times are: 13 June 2252UT and 2350UT

Another night starting with a test of the sky conditions with the 90mm Mak before bringing out a bigger scope. Conditions were not as good as the previous session.
- White Oval Z is just past the central meridian.
- The Equatorial Zone is orange.
- The Great Red Spot is on the central meridian.
- Clouds from the South Equatorial Belt are circulating around the GRS and into the South Tropical Zone to the east.
- Io and Europa are left and right of the planet respectively.

I decided to setup the C8 even though I wasn't convinced in the moment the sky conditions would be good.
The live view was turbulent, but slower than I'm used to seeing. I had both my imaging trains in the same place,
so I decided to do a comparison between my ZWO filters for the C8 and my Chroma filters used with the C11 and C14.
This image was done through the ZWO filters, while next image will be with the Chroma filters
- White Oval Z is faintly visible on the North Equatorial Belt, north of the Great Red Spot.
- The Equatorial Zone is orange.
- The GRS is off-center in its hollow.
- The GRS hollow is unusually dark.
- South Equatorial Belt clouds are circulating around the GRS and into the South Tropical Zone to the east.
- The SEBs is dark and clumpy.
- Io and Europa appear left and right of the planet respectively.

After taking an image with my usual C8 imaging train with ZWO filters,
I swapped it out for the C14 train with Chroma filters. Seeing was still turbulent but slow enough to see a decent amount of details.
- White Oval Z is setting.
- The Equatorial Zone is orange.
- The Great Red Spot is off-center in its hollow.
- The GRS hollow is unusually dark.
- South Equatorial Belt clouds are circulating around the GRS and into the South Tropical Zone to the east.
- The SEBs is dark and clumpy.
- Io and Europa appear left and right of the planet respectively.
2019-06-13-0429_4-EC-RGB
Once I was done capturing for the RGB filter comparison,
I moved on to filters I only have in the C14 imaging train, starting with the methane filter to show elevation of surface features.
- The South Equatorial Belt is split by a zone, which angles down towards the Great Red Spot.
- Io and Europa appear left and right of the planet respectively.
2019-06-13-0438_1-EC-CH4-Jup_g6_ap28_Drizzle15
Seeing was still good despite the slow turbulence blurring smaller features. The grass started dewing up,but the C8's corrector stayed clear.
- White Oval Z is setting.
- The northern South Equatorial Belt has become is lighter than usual.
- The Great Red Spot is setting.
- The SEBs is dark and clumpy.
- Io and Europa appear left and right of the planet respectively.
2019-06-13-0443_7-EC-IR-Jup_g6_ap56_Drizzle15
I decided to stick with Jupiter for one more RGB capture of Jupiter after capturing IR data.
I kept using the imaging train usually attached to the C14
- The Equatorial Zone is orange.
- The Great Red Spot is setting.
- The GRS hollow is unusually dark.
- The SEBs is dark and clumpy.
- Io and Europa appear left and right of the planet respectively.

前日と異なり雲に悩まされる事はありませんでしたが、シーイングの方は一段と変化が激しく「数撃てば当たる」方式の撮像になりました。
久し振りの大赤斑で、その周辺の変化の様子を見る事が出来ました。
