Attached is a observation of Jupiter I made last night with my 203mm Newtonian reflector.
Remarkably the image of Jupiter was much better than my recent views through the University telescope even though seeing was around AIV and the planet was much lower down in the sky.
A number of details:
- Both the SSTB and STB are better defined at this longitude.
- STropB appears to start just for. the CM.
- EZ still rather active- a number of festoons present.
- NEB very active with a number of lighter and darker sections present.
- Darker sections present in both the NTB and NNTB.
The satellite in the drawing is Io,and this appeared distinctly orangeperhaps the most strongly coloured I have ever seen it.

Conditions were not favorable with Jet stream of 26 m/s,Bad Layers having gradient of
0,8K being 9,6 to 10,9 km from bottom to top. Of course,those indicators correspond to
bad seeing conditions.
Also,the winter night was unusually warm with 23 degrees Celsius. Despite of that some
RGB sequences were reasonable but Red and IR channels were worse than Green and
Blue channels. It is the first time I observe G and B better than R and IR channels in such
sky condition.

Hi all,again only a short window of usable seeing last night,here's
Jupiter in both IR750 longpass and CH4 filters.
