晴れるのか曇るのか、よくわからない空模様で、結局は曇ってしまったのですが、
その前に何とか1枚取りました。
シーイングも透明度も悪かったのですが、BAはよく見えました。
CMTは残念ながら取れませんでしたが。。。

Temperature was higher than average for a winter night this time of year,very calm and clear.
Beautiful conjunction of the Moon and Jupiter that shared the same right
ascension with the Moon passing only 2° to the north of Jupiter.

Image set from 9 August with the recent impact region(approx. 2.5 days after detection) approaching the CM.
From posts I have seen,it appears unlikely that any post impact scarring will be seen,so just concentrating on catching up at this stage.

A decent night for imaging Jupiter. The area of the impact from two nights before is not visible, but no scar was left behind.
- White Oval Z almost blends in with the North Tropical Zone.
- The Equatorial Zone is still orange.
