Hi all, here's an image of Jupiter from last night with the GRS close to
centre. The shadow at top right is from Ganymede which is out of view to
the right

A rather rushed process of my data from last night before heading for the airport and EPSC-DPS 2019 in Geneva.
Conditions were not great, and deteriorating,so this was the best.
Possibly a methane bright feature above the GRS,and there appears to be a link from the GRS to the SEBs on its west end.
Not good enough to see the SEBs ring, although it may be associated with the link(not sure though)
I will be away until next Saturday.

Hi - getting towards the last few sessions imaging Jupiter probably - culminating well before sunset
& looking more towards Neptune in the next couple of months: quite reasonable seeing in the conditions with still plenty of GRS
& wake activity to be seen: an image with Ganymede's shadow still transitting as well as one about 1/2 hour later,
plus the r,g & b of the shadow transit image at capture scale...
