The Arctic hood is small but clearly recorded.

マンションベランダからの撮影で、火星が上階庇に近づいてきたので、撮影出来なくなる日が近い感じです。

Seeing was average and there were a number of things of interest on the disk:
- SPC seems to be absent- I think the small cap is probably there but the seeing conditions along with the small disk size prevents me from being.
- Hellas fairly bright and yellowish in colour- there still seems to be dust present in the basin.
- Syrtis Major still fairly prominent.
- White present in the far north.
In the observation the disk size was 6.0",
it is now less than this and so this is probably the last observation I will be able to make of Mars with my 8 inch Newtonian in the current apparition.
I might manage a few more observations using the University telescope depending on clear nights and availability.
