　2020年に最接近を迎える火星の最初の観測が送られてきた。夜明け前に30度に達しない低空の観測で、しかも視直径は3秒足らずで
厳しい条件での観測だった。
　画像は、明瞭な模様が再現されているが、極冠状の明るい白斑の様子を見る限り、実在のものとは考えにくい。この時期の火星面の様子は
これほどはっきりした模様は、見えないのが通常である。しかし、この大きさの火星でも観測として、役に立つものが得られることは証明された。

The first observations of Mars, which is approaching in 2020, have been sent. It was a low altitude observation that did not reach 
30 degrees before dawn, and the observation diameter was less than 3 seconds and it was an observation under severe conditions. 
Although the image reproduces a clear pattern, it is unlikely that the image is a real one as long as the appearance of a bright 
white spot in the shape of a polar cap is observed. The appearance of the surface of Mars at this time is usually not so clear. 
However, Mars of this size proved useful for observations.
