Under average to good images, the first of this present opposition. A faint banding pattern appeared at the eyepiece, little better with the W8 filter use. The polar cap looked a little darker than the cap area itself, surrounded by a darker temperate band. Equatorial zone looked lighter clear then the tilted hemisphere looked as the darker zone. Next time I will try the bigger aperture, the 254mm. Hope the seeing will be enough favourable. On the sketch the contrast level was considerably enhanced.[Stanislas Maksymowicz Ecquevilly,France]
