A fruitful session with Jupiter this morning, and just as importantly,a really beautiful, quiet,
morning- another reminder of just how special and precious life is in these times.
The earlier images capture the region preceding the GRS including the interesting disturbance in the STB(?) region.
The later set shows the GRS region.
The dark spots that have been approaching from the left appear to be disrupted by their passage below the GRS.
The CH4 image shows a number of methane -bright features around the GRS as well as a methane-dark spot in the wake.
Europa was in transit
Jupiter is now above Mars and Saturn as shown in the widefield image taken from my observatory.

Hi all, here's an image of Jupiter in some reasonable seeing this
morning - a fair bit of detail can be seen across the disk.

Seeing was good today.
Note the dark bulge on the STB and the bluish streak of the STB Spectre. The SEBn is turbulent due to the GRS.
The NEB is quiet in this region.
