Another early start to target the GRS,after some cloud the last few days.
Conditions did not look particularly good on screen,but decent enough for a full image set.
The dark SEBs stream immediately following the GRS has shown interesting changes the last few days.
Some reddish material may be seen on the f edge of the GRS,which could correspond with the light spot in the CH4 band image.
There may also be a hint of some reddish material drifting in the STrZ immediately preceding the GRS.
The dark feature on the SE edge of the GRS recently noted by Anthony Wesley appears to have rotated up the eastern edge.
The NEB in this region is quite dramatically different to the other hemisphere,as shown nicely in Eric Sussenbach's recent Jupiter map.
Europa and its shadow were in view.

3時の段階で非常にseeingがpoorでがっかりしました。
高度上昇と共に良くなると思いきや、どんどん悪化しました。
2枚目を撮ろうとした4時半ごろには、さらにグチャグチャ。
諦めました。春でもこんなにひどい気流があるんですね。

Condition was poor today. There were thin clouds and transparency was very poor.
Seeing was variable and very unstable.
The GRS can be seen on these image. Note the flake extension on the f side of the GRS as reported by Clyde Foster.
This feature is very bright n CH4. There is a complex outbreak at the wake of the GRS.
The NEB is very turbulent with complex rift activity. The NNTZ LRS is very prominent.

前日とはガラリと変わって、風が強くシーイングも悪い、ガッカリな朝でした。
冬に匹敵する悪条件でしたが、視直径が増大した分だけ模様が見えました。

03時前から準備しましたが強風のため気流状態が極めて悪く撤収を決めました。
ところがその後04時に向けて風が静かになりシーイングが良くなったため再度撮影をしました。
04時を過ぎると再びシーイングが悪化してしまい1セットのみの報告です。

高層雲の塊が空にたくさんあり、見る見るうちに木星を覆ってしまう。
その後、出たり入ったりを繰り返すので、イチかバチか観測をしてみた。
しかし、雲に邪魔され、結果は悲惨だった。
