Another attempt early this morning to monitor the outbreak region sp the GRS in difficult seeing conditions, with some jetstream.

I did manage to find a few useable captures in amongst a large amount of reject data.

The Methane image is low resolution, but may show a general brightening in the region of the outbreak.
Higher res images are required to confirm this.

Some structure is seen in both the IR and the RGB.

I’m not sure, but the whole feature may becoming more visible in the IR and RGB?

I had a very frustrating imaging run today. Seeing was excellent but my run had to be interrupted by clouds!

On my last images, one can see that Clyde's Spot has brightened again and as a single spot!
Did the two spots merge? I was not able to capture a second set of methane band because of clouds.
The GRS is rising on the left. The NEB is still very active with outbreaks and complex rifts.
The SEBn shows the turbulence from the GRS. Callisto's shadow is to the left of the NNTZ LRS.

Hi all, here are two images from this morning taken through IR750
longpass and CH4 methane absorption filters. The seeing was not so great
as we still have a prevailing jetstream overhead but it's better than it
has been in the last few days.

In the IR image we can see the GRS rising at lower left preceded,to its
right,by a compact bright storm in the South Terrestrial Zone that
erupted a few days ago and was first seen by Clyde Foster. The original
storm has since faded but now it looks like it's erupted again for a
second time. This is almost certainly a convective upwelling of bright
cloud similar to those we've been witnessing in many locations around
Jupiter recently but it's unusual to see one here. It's located inside a
pre-existing area that has shown some recent colour changes and activity.

In the CH4 image, taken in poor seeing, you can see this new storm as a
faint bright spot showing that the clouds are of higher altitude than
those around it.

The moon shadow at top left is from Callisto,it's interesting to see
the penumbral shadow in the IR image caused by a large moon
