Jupiter with the moon Europa, its shadow, the Oval BA and GRS in transit.

Europa and its shadow towards the end of their transits.
The Oval BA is on the p limb and the GRS is at the very extremity of the same limb.

Trevor Barry
Imaged Jupiter July 6th in reasonable seeing.
Have very good Ch4 data, good 685nm IR data and quite reasonable R,G & B data.
Europa was in transit during the entire session with it’s shadow also in the Ch4 & IR data.
Many tiny dark spots are resolve at all wavelengths within the NPR and NNTB and NTB.
Intricate structure is resolved in the NEB with three prominent festoons in the EZ.
The SEB is quieter on this face of Jove.
Three small bright ovals are lined up in the SSTB and were well seen in the live feed.
Oval BA is just going over the P limb and there is a bright oval very far south in the SPR best seen in the Ch4 data

Its becoming a bit of a routine for me over this recent period: Mediocre seeing at 4-6/10.
Capturing large amounts of data, and digging out a brief period of improved seeing
where I can use a single R,G and B to produce an RGB. I had to reject all my IR data,
but managed to produce a CH4 from 4 captures. The remnants of Clyde's Spot are near the CM.
An interesting light elongated oval feature sf,between Clyde's spot and the oval.

Seeing was perfect today despite the poor transparency due to clouds.

The NEB is very active in this region. Complex rifts and outbreaks. The NEBn has a lot of dark materials.
The feeston on the EZ is very complex. SEB is quiet in this region.
In the SEBn,there is a small bright spot in methane band.
A lot of details can be resolved from the temperate zones to the poles.

The worst seeing I ever had,but I continued trying to image. That's the resul

Seeing conditions were pretty good, transparency was high, with only a slight bit of jitter in the atmosphere.
The good part was that seeing was somewhat consistent which allowed me to derotate 5 IR stacks that were good.
