1時間毎の5枚撮像は明日からの天気からすると今日で最後かもです。

Seeing was very unstable today.

I was able to catch the NTB jetstream outbreak.
This system seem to have developed a "tail" which is obvious in the IR image.
This outbreak is very bright in all visible and NIR wavelengths.  The SEB looks very pale in this region.

Hi all,some interesting times on Jupiter at present. Here are images
from last night showing Jupiter through both a 750nm longpass IR filter
and a CH4 narrowband methane filter. The CH4 filter shows cloud
altitudes due to methane absorption in Jupiters atmosphere of reflected
sunlight.

The new bright storm that erupted a couple of days ago is clearly
visible in Jupiters north,it's so bright that it's difficult to process
with oversaturating. In the CH4 filter you can also see a trail of high
altitude material associated with it located to the left of the main
storm cell.

just as interesting (to me anyway) is the enormous dark spot that shows
on Jupiters left in the CH4 images. I've included a second CH4 image
that shows this as best I could see it last night,I've abused the
WinJupos limb-darkening parameters to enhance its visibility in the
second CH4 image. I should get a better look at this region tonight,but
it's certainly intriguing. In the last IR750 image attached here you can
see that it's not really visible at all in the 750nm filter

夕方から薄雲が広がり、どんどん濃くなっていきました。ようやく、観測できる
程度の明るさになったので、WSに焦点を当ててみましたが、木星の縞模様が
何とか見える程度のシーイング。おまけに途中からどんどん雲が厚くなり、
とうとう快曇になりました。

NTBs jetstream outbreakを見ることができました。
先行白斑は一昨日よりも大きく明るくなっていて、ひと目でわかるほどになっています。
位置もNEB北縁にへばりついていたものが、NTrZの真ん中という感じになっていました。
白斑後部には暗色模様ができ始めているようで、やや薄青く見えました。
経度はI=355.1°で、2日で11°も前進しています(体系１に対して！)。
Leading spotとして典型的な値です。
天気もシーイングも良く、3日で11枚と荒稼ぎをしています。

NEBの北に小さな明るい白斑が見えます。　最初は、衛星が見えているのかと思いました。
処理してみると細いスジがでていました。
それとSTBの南側の白斑群の間にリング状の見慣れない模様がみえました

NTBs Jetstream outbreakが発生したとの情報で急遽撮影しました。
隣の家の屋根に隠れる直前で慌てて撮影しましたが、モニターでも
白い点として目立っていました。

Note the not very well resolved white spot in the NTropZ at LII = 62 degrees.
Others have reported outbreaks in the NTropZ recently.  Hoping for better seeing.

Both seeing and transparency were slightly compromised for the first capture in this session (12:00:54 UT).
This improved as the session progressed,allowing a more detailed image to be produced at 13:34:24 UT.
By this time,the recent NTZ outbreak had unfortunately rotated out of view.
