高度が低いと気流状態が非常に悪く、
南中前後だけ落ち着く感じでした

Seeing and transparency was much better today compared to yesterday.
Transparency was still not perfect due haze.  The methane band  and the IR850 images were taken using a QHY462 camera.

The interesting feature on these images in the huge methane dark spot  on the NEB.
The corresponding IR and color counterpart of this feature is well resolved showing small cyclones and anticylones.
Is this feature associated to a bright outbreak on the right.
On the STB,there is a circulation that is dark on all wavelengths.
Is this the STB Ghost?  The SEB looks very pale in this region

The outbreak in NTB has definitely grown in longitude - rapidly approaching GRS.

I obtained the methane image with the highly sensitive 462MC,which seems to give less noisy results compared to the 290MM (as also Chris Go pointed out).

SEB中央組織の崩壊が進んでいます。
眼視でも断片的になっているのがよくわかります。
II=250°から後方では濃く直線的ですが、北側がゾーンのように明るく、
SEBnが微かに見えるだけです。ベルトの幅が半分になったような感じです

Conditions were not quite as good as the previous evening,
but the high altitude trail that is developing following the outbreak could be seen as it transited.
Over the last few days I have also noted the very methane-dark spot in the NEBs np the GRS,
and it is quite striking in IR as well.
Interesting streamers in the lower section of the EZ.

Hope to have some RGB out later.





Two captures as the outbreak transited. Conditions not great for RGB,although the second set was better,and indicates that things are quite complex.

Hi all,here are images of Jupiter from last night - early on we could
see the NEB outbreak and then a couple of hours later the seeing
improved to the point that an RGB could be captured.

注目のリーディングスポットのない面が見えているが、NTBがやや濃く
なっているように見える。また、スケッチには描けないが、NTｒZに小さな
白いスポットが見える。NTｒZが注目されているから余計に気にしているから
見えたのかもしれない。
