A new NTB jetstream outbreak has appeared in Jupiter.
This storm was discovered by Eric Sussenbach 10 hours ago! Congratulations Eric for this discover!

The sky here was OVERCAST! I would have gone to bed if it were not for this new outbreak.
I had to image through clouds! Transparency was poor and seeing was average.

These images show the new NTB outbreak close to the CM!
Like the other outbreak this will ride the fierce NTB jetstream.
The NEB shows the chaotic upheaval it has occurred this year. The SEB looks pale in this region.

I had a very exciting evening!
When I started imaging today I could just capture Jupiter with the GRS and
I realized that I had missed the opportunity to capture the "previous" outbreak, because this is now preceding the GRS.
Seeing was reasonable and I continued capturing in color and wanted to practice focusing with the CH4 filter.
I often do some quick processing while I am capturing and then I saw this bright spot in Methane.
Excited as I was,I continued imaging and started checking the internet if this was a new outbreak or that I had missed something.
Christopher Go responded that if it is not a moon,it must be an outbreak.
So here are my captures of the new outbreak in color,Methane and IR

Hi all, attached are two images of Jupiter from last night. The first
image was taken just on sunset using a 750nm longpass filter and shows
the continued development of NTB outbreak #1 as well as the GRS and Oval
BA rising at lower left.

The second image was taken later in the evening and shows the new NTB
storm #2 through a 650nm longpass filter. It's still a relatively
compact spot although some change in structure can be seen.

On Sept.2nd conditions were initially poor but gradually optimized to good.
In the first set Outbreak #1 is setting and on the second set Outbreak #2 is well resolved although Jupiter was only in 23 degrees altitude.
