解説(安達)/ Comment by Makoto Adachi
Small image, but full of information. Tempe (50W ~ 90W, + 45) is brightly reflected. It looks whitish and white clouds are spreading.
Water ice clouds near Chryse (35W, +10) are also visible. In addition, The SP hood is spreading.

Normally we leave Mars alone until it passes about 7" but decided to see what was possible in poor seeing yesterday morning. (Jan 28th)
Despite poor seeing, onscreen image morphing (see onscreen feed of first 10 frames of UT19:45 capture)
& clouds affecting these captures as well, we managed 2 passable outcomes seen in the UT19:45 image
& the 2-frame animation where the Acidalia etc as well as Chryse/Xanthe regions to the south could be made out somewhat... ;)
