3月17日に発生したダストストームはNiall MacNeill氏によって、見事に記録された。2月26日に見られたものと比べると、
規模は2倍くらいになる。前日はSPCと同じくらいの白さがあったが、今日は1日経ち、巻き上げられた砂の影響を受け、黄色っぽく
なっている様子が記録されている。Milika-Nicholas氏の青画像では、この部分が明るく記録され、白雲混じりである様子が記録されている。
また、ヘラス付近は黄色っぽく記録され、ダスティーであることが分かる。ヘラス周辺の黄色く明るい部分は、2月26日のClyde Foster氏の
観測と、大きく違うところはなく、濃いダストストームによるものではない。
熊森氏はエドムをIRで明るく記録しているのが興味深い。日本は、相変わらずシーイングがよくない。
The dust storm on March 17 was recorded beautifully by Mr. Niall MacNeill. It is about twice as large as what was seen on

This view shows the 89% illuminated planet,with Syrtis Major the major feature visible at the central meridian.
On its p side there is an interesting bright area.
The resolution is not quite good enough to work out what is going on with the Hellas Basin,
but there seems to be a ‘V’ shaped light coloured band extended up from it towards Syrtis Major.
This may be an indication of some dust activity.
There is also a white feature extended up from the South Polar Cap,towards the Hellas Basin.
It is a slightly darker colour compared to the ice cap and may be water ice cloud or dust.

春になりましたが依然気流の流れが速く撮像に苦労しました。早く安定した気流になってくれる事を期待しています。

シーイングは良かったが、光軸が微妙にずれていて、修正しているうちに
時間がどんどん流れ、結局1枚しか観測できなかった。
木星がどんどん追い上げてきて、木星も気になるが、時間不足から、観測はあきらめた。
火星はSPCが白くよく見えた。最大時にしては、Deの関係で大きく見えないのが残念だった。
