Niall MacNeill氏はタルシス(Tharsis;80W~120W,+10)の山岳雲を記録した。アルシアシルバ(Arsia Silva Mons;W120,-3)が一番よく
目立っている。この経度ではオリンピア山(Olympus Mons;135W,+25)には、まだ白雲は出ていない。
MR. Niall MacNeill recorded a mountain cloud of Tharsis ( 80W ~ 120W,+ 10). Arsia Silva Mons (W120,-3) is most prominent.
At this longitude,no white clouds have yet appeared on the Olympus Mons (135W,+25).

The central region is that of the shield volcanoes.
Orographic clouds can be clearly discerned around the 3 shield volcanoes of the Tharsis Montes
and are particularly thick around Arsia Mons to the South.
They extend towards the terminator. Olympus Mons is just on the f side of the Central Meridian.
To the South of Arsia Mons is the Daedalia Planum,which has two bright red-brown patches.
These are possibly localised dust storms.

Poor to fair seeing on the 4th. Meridiani and surroundings are well seen.
No obvious dust activity despite the regional storm over this area fairly recently.
