According to Mr. Clyde Foster's observations, dust veil is recorded to spread from the Mare Cimmerium (W180 ~ W250,-40 ~ 0)
to the west region. Mr. Niall MacNeill observed the area around Margaritifer Sinus (23W; -10),but it has been recorded that
it is doing it over a wide range.

Mars image set from this morning under poor and rapidly deteriorating conditions.
However, cloud can still be seen over Arsia Mons.
There are a few bright spots on the edge of the SPC and also possible discolouration of the SPC near the terminator
(similar to that observed a short while ago by Niall and Andy).
There is a rather usual effect on the SE limb(upper left) as it appears the planet has almost been cut off.....

Hi all, here's an image of Mars from this morning in reasonable seeing. The south polar cap is prominent at bottom,
with Sinus Meridiani visible at right. At just on 7" in diameter Mars still has a long way to go...

A spell of good seeing near sunrise gave a suprisngly detailed result.
Syrtis Major/Hellas/Mare Cimmerium are on view.
SPC at bottom shows some indentations in the edge of the cap.
