解説(安達)/ Comment by Makoto Adachi

Even today, the sky above the SPC is covered with dust. Mr. Endo captures the situation. It is close to the image seen
with the naked eye. Mr. Arakawa's image records the appearance of dust in the atmosphere near Argyre (30W,-50). Edom
(360W,2),which is a hot topic every time it approaches,is brightly recorded this time as well when emphasized. But this is not
a special phenomenon. Mr. Kumamori recorded in the blue image that Syrtis Major (293W,+0~20) and Hellas (275~315W,-30~60)
were seeing the evening mist.

Hi - here is a Mars image from May 28th: we had to utilise the colour camera (ASI224MC) due to the inordinate amount of high cloud passing through continuously during the brief imaging session - a feature of the nights in South Australia for much of the last couple of months! :(
Whilst the relatively poor resolution due to the seeing is a significant factor, the Martian "landscape" appears significantly different atm: specifically some regions of lower albedo (ie,darker regions) appear as if they might have brightened quite noticeably, although at the same time it does look like other areas display more contrast (ie,even less albedo thus darker) than they usually have over the last few apparitions...
For instance,N-W of S. Meridiani along the W. edges of Arabia in the very S. regions of Acidalia, abutting Niliacus (specifically around the Indus/Oxus region & extensions) it appears markedly different.....as noted the resolution of this image might explain this to a certain degree, but it does appear as if there have been changes (perhaps lingering from 2018?) apropos albedo variations on the Martian surface...although Mars southern tilt has increased markedly since then of course.
Looking at various maps indicates large variations in the lower albedo areas over time, possibly indicative of such variations...
