解説(安達)/ Comment by Makoto Adachi
ダストストーム発生の前日となった。残念なことに、今日も発生地点の観測はない。
Clyde Foster氏の観測では全体がダスティー
であることが分かる。Mike Hood氏の画像は、注目されるオーロラから外れてしまった。残念である。
It was the day before the dust storm. Unfortunately, there is no observation of the point of occurrence today.
According to Mr. Clyde Foster's observation, it can be seen that the whole is dusty. Mr. Mike Hood's image has fallen off
the noticeable aurora. It's a shame.

I'm afraid Mars has taken a bit of a back seat this year with Jupiter and Saturn running ahead of it towards opposition.
But its time will come.... My alarm didn't go off for my planned Jupiter session,
so I decided to have a quick look at Mars as it was close to the meridian.
The S Gomer extensions are well seen, with Syrtis Major on the right limb,
Hellas is at upper right, and the way the SPC is cracking up,you would think it knew what was happening down here on Earth.
I noted an interesting large ring like feature directly above Gomer in the southern Hesperia region, best seen in R.
