太田氏の画像のSPCは左側にへこんだ部分がある。その北側に斜めになった黄色い明部が見られる。これは、SPCが昇華し、北に向かって
絶え間なく風が発生し、エッジがへこんで記録されたものと思われる。その風によって発生したダストが、東風に流されながら中緯度地方に
流れているらしい。ここ数日間続いている現象だ。
Tiziano Olivetti氏の画像はSPCの様子がよく記録できている。太田氏の画像と見比べると、SPCがどのようにかかわっているかが
よくわかる。極冠に焦点を当てると、模様の濃さのバランスがとりにくくなる。火星の画像処理の難しさがよくわかる。Damian Peach氏の
画像でも同じことがいえる。
The SPC in Mr. Ota's image has a dented portion on the left side. On the north side there is a slanted yellow light. This is probably due
to the sublimation of the SPC,continuous winds to the north,and dented edges. The dust generated by the wind seems to be flowing
in the mid-latitude region while being swept away by the eastern wind. It's a phenomenon that has been going on for the
past few days.
The image of Mr. Tiziano Olivetti shows a good record of the SPC. Compared with Mr. Ota's image,this image clearly shows
how SPC is related. Focusing on the polar cap makes it difficult to balance the darkness of the pattern. Image processing of
Mars is very difficult. The same is true for Damian Peach's image.

Mars is looking very hazy with airborne dust following the storm across this area last month.
Novus Mons visible on the SPC edge. Note the strange dark feature across Deltoton Sinus.
