The seeing was fair.

Late evening conditions have been unfortunately not as good as earlier in the evening,
so I am having to take what I can from Mars. It’s still lovely to see it so large on screen nonetheless.
This view looks almost directly down on Solis Lacus, with the Valles Marineris complex to its lower left.
Plenty of cloud evident around the limb.
Olympus Mons is the light feature at lower right.

This image of Mars is the result obtained after a long work of fusion between color images and images obtained with the IR720 infrared filter,
which given the rather poor atmospheric conditions allowed to highlight the smallest details a little better.
The framed region is well known,Solis Lacus in the upper left,Olimpus Mons in the center slightly below,
the pole now reduced to a minimum, many blue clouds at the edges of the planet.
We'll see if this weather will give me an evening finally suitable to take advantage of the 36cm resolution .... Before Mars goes too far!
