Weather here had been horrible due to a series of tropical cyclones that were close by.
It was cloudy most of today. When I started imaging, seeing was very unstable.
In fact it started to drizzle despite the fact that the sky was CLEAR overhead.
Yes I can see stars overhead! When the drizzling stop seeing became very stable. These are some of my best images this season.
Sinus Sabeaus and Sinus Meridiani is the highlight of this region.
Syrtis Major can be seen setting on the right while the Chryse region is rising on the left.
After I finished processing my first run,I went out to check the sky and it was clear!
Because of the weather here,I missed imaging the region of Mare Erythraeum and Chryse so I went ahead and started another run.
Seeing was only 8/10 so not as good as the seeing earlier. But a lot of details are resolved and I'm happy with the result.

A good evening finally, which I tried to exploit to get the most from Mars. The eye of Mars,Solis Lacus, right in the center of the image.
The south pole evidently divided into several parts,Mount Olympus on which the Sun rises, many clouds at the edges.
Image and video of what we observed tonight.

Just managed to catch Mars yesterday evening with cloud coming and going, under average conditions.
Centred on Valles Marineris and Aurorae Sinus.

From (Noachis; 335W ~ 10W,-25 ~ -30) to the west, there seemed to be a dust veil, and the pale pattern in the Southern Hemisphere became even lighter.
Mare Erythuraeum is also faint and hard to seeIt has become. Mare Acidarium Oxia in the southeast also looks a little hazy.
The west claws of Meridiani are also hazy. There seems to be a dust veil.

Poor conditions for this session, yet Vallis Marineris is detectable,
as is Olympus Mons near the limb. Some cloud activity all-around the planet.

A few hours of clear sky here on the 18th before the clouds rolled in,
the attached is the result of 3 x 4,000 frames de rotated in Winjupos,
each AVI just 2.5 minutes in length (about 22,000 frames).

We continue our "special project" this apparition of creating annotated disk maps of Mars as opposed to the projection maps that are everywhere on the internet...
we do this because we feel that (especially for AA imagers) it is an excellent "ready reckoner" when people are imaging & want a quick appraisal of what they are viewing onscreen & after processing of their captures,
encouraged by feedback from numerous people agreeing such presentations are worthwhile.
This is the first time we have managed to achieve similar hi-resolution captures/images to that which we have obtained away from home,
although all our images have benefited greatly by the ADC...because even at the furthest North when we are away,
the images are still only within the 45ー-50ー range of elevation.
This time Sinus Meridiani is central,as well as many other adjacent regions...with perhaps the spread of clouds across this Martian vista being the most satisfying element to capture:
the composite image is in annotated & un-annotated 150% of capture scale images as per the rest,as well as the rgb & individual filter captures at 100% (capture) scale.
Some maps re-annotate features, but only as references when another image in the series shows similar features. ;)

The UV image is now showing that Olympus Mons also is beginning to develop its seasonal orographic cloud. On the UV image,
the local time is almost 13H so the cloud is growing; while on the UV image of the T620,it was around 10H40 and there was no cloud.

from my stay at the AstroQueyras observatory. The seeing was less good than during the first night.
On the 18th,with the 620 mm Cassegrain,I used the camera in 2x binning.
