Clouds Limb clouds still very prevalent,
especially over Eye of Mars and Tharsis; also a bright Edom cloud,
and North Polar Hood.

Maximilian Teodorescu
Here are some fast processed sequences from tonight's session showing a new dark feature on Mars.
It could be related to a dust storm or to something else. This might be the first observation of the feature,
so until more will be available,I cannot say what is the nature of the "dark spot".

Two RGB sets showing the dark streak feature near the terminator, marked on the Red filter images.
It seems it lost contrast as it got farther from the terminator. Note the complex cloud patterns in the Blue filter images.

I had a crazy session. The sky alternated from clear to totally overcast in minutes!
I was fortunate to get a short clearing for these images.
Seeing was average and transparency was variable.
These images are similar to the one I took yesterday.
Syrtis Major is prominent. The Huygens crater can clearly be seen.
There are morning clouds at SInus Meridiani.
The shape of the north polar hood is different from that you yesterday.

[Christopher Go : Cebu Philippines]

Chris Nuttall
Finally a clear spell last night.
The SPC was uniformly oval (I had been mindful of looking for the rift, but the seeing was not good enough.)
The NPH seemed uniform, bright bluish white, not displaced, nor disrupted.
Morning mist seemed a little less prevalent than of late, although still obvious,
with some extended areas over Nox Lux / Arsia Silva, and also Icaria.
Evening mist also present, with extensions over Sinus Meridiani and Thymiamata.
Ophir was bright,so too was Candor, the brightness continued through Tractus Albus forming a Y shape.
A little brightness also seen in southern Chryse.
Also brightess noted in Thaumasia.

Another few hours of clear sky and fairly good seeing conditions tonight,
the attached is the result of 3 x 4,000 frames de rotated in Winjupos, each AVI just 2.5 minutes in length (about 22,000 frames).

The dark feature, imaged at the same night of Maximilian Teodorescu's discovery.
I could never have interpreted this structure as a new one. Congratulation Maximilian!
