当地では最近シーイングが極めて悪く、カラー画像がまともに写らないのでIRで細々と撮像しておりました。
遅くなりましたがクリュセ付近に11月12日に発生したダストストームの初期の9日間ほどの変化を赤外画像で追ったものなどをまとめてご報告いたします。
2005年の黄雲と1973年の黄雲をかなり詳細に比較したレポートが内外にいくつかありますが、それらによれば1973年は大黄雲であったのに対して2005年のは中規模黄雲であったということになるようです。
とすれば今期のはちょうど中間くらいの規模で中〜大規模黄雲で火星全周周回規模や全球規模にならずにおさまるのでしょうか。
Being a bit late, but I am attaching here a montage showing the initial nine days of the progress of the dust storm broken out on this 12 November 2020 at Chryse with IR images. 
It is quite similar to the one observed in October 2005, though seems a bit more active. Is it going to be an encircling scale?
