雲がすっきりと晴れず、シーイングもよくない。

Seeing was poor for this image centered on Mare Cimmerium.

The weather during the last few days wasn't great. I finally had a clearing today. Seeing was good.
I am still trying to get a handle on getting the correct color balance with my Mars image,
while keeping the polar ice cap as close to white and not over burning it.
The dust storm has now reached the Hellas basin. There is a dust cloud over Hellespontus.
It seems that this storm has not breached Sinus Sabeaus and a portion of the south pole remains clear.
The Schiaparelli crater is clearly outlined.

仕事から帰ってきたときはすでに淡いうろこ雲が空一面だった。何とか2枚の観測をしたが、その後は曇った。
ダストストームはHellasの中が明るく、とてもよく目立っている。
北半球の砂漠の色が、今までのようなオレンジ系から黄色系にすっかり変わってしまい、ダストに覆われてきた様子が分かる。
まだま、発達しそうである。

Here is a mars report performed under good average images and hazy sky.
Dusty veils were apparent,thick at the limb and slighter on the globe,
features were lowered behind.

Mars looks much smaller now at 15.7" compared to 22.4" at opposition.

Before fog and frost swallowed the landscape seeing changed from bad to acceptable (4/10). The dust storm is still prominent,
but the quickly shrinking diameter of the planet makes imaging more and more difficult under my turbulent air.
