Its the last day of the year! Happy New Year! I finally had a clearing. Seeing was a bit unstable.
Syrtis Major and Sinus Sabaeus are prominent on this region. There are some thin clouds just above the south pole and also at Hellas.
The south polar cap is barely visible while the north polar hood is very bright.

ドームの上に雪が10㎝少々積もっていたが、雪かきのおかげて、スリットが安全に開けられるようになった。
1時ごろから快晴になった。15時から観測に入った。シーイングは良くなかったが、Syrtisは良く見えた。
Zeaが何とかわかる程度で、残念に思っていたが、太陽が沈むころにはモーレツに悪くなり、模様すら見えなくなってしまった。
こんな条件の悪い時は、まだ日中のほうが観測しやすいようだ。

風が強く望遠鏡も揺れましたが、なんとかLRGBが１セット得ることができました。

思うようにピント合わせができないまま久しぶりに小さくなった火星を見ました。
情報量が少ないと思われますが記録としてご報告いたします。

Here is a mars report performed last 31st december under good images using the 102mm refractor.
The planet ground color appeared more orange,
actually yellowish orange, as well the planet in the sky with the naked eye.
The atmospheric veils are plotted on the sketch.

Having seen the forecast for cloud to increase through the evening I was out as soon as Mars was visible to the naked eye.
Unfortunately the seeing was only Ant III,
and as thin cloud moved in off the North Sea the definition degraded further until there was no point continuing.〓

SPC just about glimpsed a small number of times.
NPH very bright on the limb.
Evening mist extending in a belt through Chryse.
A small further bright spot in Noachis.
A little morning mist visible with a brighter patch in Tharsis.
The Southern mist band faintly visible.
