had another two imaging opportunities allowing methane (Custom Scientific; 889nm/18nm),
broadband IR (Schott 1000nm IR-pass filter) and RGB data (Astronomik type 2c).
A 14" SCT at f/ 10 was used. Camera was ASI 183MM pro at -10,bin 1x1. 200ms integrations,
1min SERs. 10% (RGB) or 75% frames (CH4 and IR) were used. 5 min JUPOS derotation for RGB and IR,
30min JUPOS derotations for CH4.

Monsoon is back. In fact,it rained hard this evening.
There was a brief clearing and I'm glad I took some images. The ground around me is still very wet.
Seeing was very good. But transparency was variable due to clouds.

The GRS is setting on the right. The wake of the GRS has a very bright outbreak.
The remnant of Clyde's spot is close to the CM. Note how it is interacting with with the STB circulation.
The NEB is very pale. Note the large cyclonic dark ovals on the NEB!

I had poor conditions yesterday evening, but with some recent interest in the EZ in this region,
I ran a lengthy string of CH4 captures and some UV's.
The brightest region is almost on the CM,and could be tracked on screen as Jupiter rotated.
Processing was a bit heavy handed to try and highlight any structure.

Thanks to Gordon,Amy,Chris,John and Shinji (and any others I may have missed) for the recent interesting discussions.

Just got around to processing this image from the last session with half decent but still wobbly seeing from my location.
The last week although clear and free of jetstream, has given terrible seeing conditions.
GRS on the CM.
