シーイングが悪くなり、また風も強く、時々木星像が乱れて模様が大きくボケる状態
で、マルチアライメントはエラーとなり、シングルアライメントで処理する始末でした

寒冷前線通過なのに、なぜか気温は爆上がりの一日でした。

２２日は、雲間で準備したもののひどい気流とすぐ曇られて撮れませんでした。
今日はだいぶ気流は回復しましたが、細部は今一つです。
最後の１枚は、薄雲が来てゲインを変えながらの撮影でした

夕方は大赤斑を見ることができました。
相当シーイングが悪かったのですが、SSTBのA1はよく見えました。かなり明るいようです。
夕食後はBA付近でしたが、この経度でもSEBsが淡くなっているようで、
SEBs北縁の心棒のような組織が眼視でもよくわかるようになっています

ASI462MCのカメラはキャプチャーソフトとしてFireCapture v2.5では動かずv2.6かv2.7betaが必須。
またv2.5ではUSBTrafficの影響が少なかったのに何故かFireCaptureの新しいバージョンではここが敏感なようです。
キャプチャー速度をこれまでと同等に確保することができました。
昨夜はシーイング良さそうな天候でしたが期待が外れました

通過する寒冷前線の影響か、画像が小刻みに揺れて厳しいシーイングでした。
特に後半はシーイングが悪化したため、鏡筒を変えて出来るだけシーイングの
比較的良かった時間帯の画像に近くなるように処理をしてみました

Although conditions weren't ideal,I did run an extended session to catch the GRS.
The most noticeable feature (for me,at least) was the disruption of the NEB(S) by a rather sharp,
NW-SE diagonal streak,which shows prominently dark in the CH4. Europa and its shadow were in transit.

Since Clyde had imaged Jupiter almost exactly 30 hours after I did I thought it would be interesting to blink animate the two.
I dropped two of my runs so that the L3 longitudes matched more closely.
Clyde's image was captured with an IR 685 nm BP filter  at 19:09.9,2021-09-23 and mine with an IR 64 2nm BP filter at 13:25.6,2021-09-22.


I had the best seeing of the season for these captures of Jupiter on 23rd September (UT).
The GRS was rotating out of view and was on the p limb . I started on CH4,then RGB/ IR followed by UV.
The Methane band image shows the GRS more fully and there is a beautiful wave pattern in the NTeZ,but no thickening of the EZ on this side of the planet.
The RGB and IR images have perhaps the best resolution I've achieved this apparition with really good pole to pole and limb to limb detail.
The complex wake of the GRS shows a remarkably smooth taper from the full width of the GRS
to perhaps a quarter of that dimension around perhaps 100 degrees of the planet's circumference.
The internal structure of the Oval BA is well resolved and its colour is now almost yellow. WS6,
the string of pearls and Clyde's Spot DS7 can also be seen in relatively high resolution.
This is also the clearest I have seen the blue colour of the polar regions,
that we have seen in the Juno probe images.
Finally when the seeing is good,you have a chance of getting something decent in UV
and so it proved on this occasion. The light red barge that we see in the NEBn,is quite dark in UV.

Here’s a set of images from the 23rd September in mixed conditions.
The first images have come out not too badly,covering Oval BA,DS6 and Clyde’s Spot.
DS6 is surprisingly prominent in UV,
I guess it should be expected given how blue  it is.
The train of ripples between Clyde’s Spot and DS6 is somewhat reminiscent of Kelvin-Helmholz clouds on Earth.
DS6 has moved away from Oval BA again. Conditions weren’t great for this methane capture,
but there is a darker streak extending in from the NEBs towards the EZ f. Oval BA.

なぜかWInJUPOSにて合成すると右端に白く円弧が発生してしまいます・・・・?
