暖かくなったが、暖気と寒気がごちゃ混ぜだったらしく、シーイングはよくなる傾向が見えない。せっかくArsia Monsの雲の確認をしたかったがかなわなかった。

Mars two days after Perseverance landing.
What I am hoping will be the end of what I have no doubt is the longest period of cloud since I started serious imaging in 2014.
With Mars already at 20 deg N and dropping towards my neighbours roof,and plenty of thermal activity following a hot day,
it will remain a difficult target for me as it reduces in size.
But I was off course excited to catch Syrtis Major,
knowing that Perseverance Rover is safely settled in Jezero crater on the lower left edge of SM.
I guess one fortunate aspect of the cloudy weather is that it coincided with Jupiter and Saturn at Solar Conjunction.
It doesn’t often work in our favour like that!

Here are my Mars images from five dates in February.
There have been quite a few opportunities for imaging the past month,
which is somewhat of a surprise, but seeing has been generally poor.〓
The NPH has been invariable present near the morning〓terminator when seeing has been adequate.
I am now catching〓up with processing and have a few more results to send from this period,
which will arrive as soon as possible.
