The opposite of last night, the seeing started good then quickly fell apart...
Hellas appeared clouded on the SE limb.
The NE limb appeared bright to the north of Syrtis Major,
at times I suspected〓a topographic cloud there but I think it was the worsening seeing tricking me.
Morning〓mist again extending away from the SPH through Argyre.
Morning mist also extending〓away from the NPH into Chryse.
This is my 70th colour drawing of Mars〓for this〓apparition.

Fair conditions. Syrtis Major is prominent at right with Hellas below it covered in clouds. Mars is now 255 million km from us
- almost four times further away than it was in Oct 2020 hence its now much harder to record fine details on its small disk.

Showing what appears to be the northern cap at the extreme limb.〓
Looking back at my previous images, the cap〓appears to be visible on February 12 and 14 as well,
while on Feb 11, 10 and 6,(also) the hood is visible, expanding further south and being brighter〓towards the morning limb.
There appears to be considerable variation in the extent and brightness of the hood.
