Here is a mars report performed last 31st march with the 235mm cassegrain.
Images were average good enough for making these drawings, the session was short actually.
The south cap region was withish, bright south of Promether sinue〓and hazy south of novus mons.
The southern part of Hellas basin was white bright, less close to Hellespontus, lesser close to Trinacria,
A brightening on Xanthes,Eridania not rising then not seen,
Aeria,Arabia appeared covered by a thin haze using W11 and no filter near the limb.
The north cap region exhibited a white dot north of ismenius lacus/ Deutorolinus, then towards the limb a whitish haze seemsly.
It is Difficult to say more with regards to the present conditions.

I had an unusually long observing run on March 31st. Four hours of Mars from mid daylight to twilight.
In the beginning seeing was underaverage. It got better in late afternoon and reached top notches at about 16 UT for about half an hour.
At this time I switched my setup to eyepiece projection reaching some thrilling f:70,meaning about an equivalent of 24,5 metres of focal length.
Meant as testing only, this setup worked great during the best seeing period.
My usual setup though will stay at f:36. Results may get drizzled by factor 1,5 then as done here in this tableau too.
Visibility of NPH or NPC strongly correlates with longitude visible. Best stretch around CM 260ー.
Some haze over Elysium around 16 UT and following. Deep southern latitudes lying under widespread haze layer.

Here is an image in good seeing from the 31st. Syrtis Major/Hellas are nicely seen. NPC looks bright at top.
