Here is a mars report performed last 8th may with the 203mm cassegrain under just average images. Syrtis Major was there, faint, Hellas basin too but very faint through the seeing. Morning and evening haze was discernible〓in the northern hemisphere. North cap there and a hood on the south cap pole area.
