昨日よりは少し気流が収まってきてはいるものの、
相変わらず細部は写りません。

昨夜よりは少しシーイング改善したものの良くありませんでした。
この画像を撮影した後に雲が経過して更に気流悪くなり、
暫く待ったのですが持ち直す気配が無かったので撤収しました

天気が良く、気流は比較的落ち着いているように感じました

新年初観測です。
昨日よりもマシなシーイングでしたが、特筆すべき模様は見えませんでした。

It wasn't without a twinge of emotion that I opened up a new "Jupiter 2022" folder this morning and saved my first two images of the year,
captured yesterday afternoon as cloud was building up, and which prevented CH4 and UV captures.
If nothing else, Covid has been a reminder to me just how fragile our lives can be, that we need to make the most of the time we have,
and that I have so much to be thankful for. Not least of all the enjoyment and satisfaction that
I have derived from interacting with the planetary community over these last years,
and some special personal relationships that I have built.
Wishing you and your loved ones a wonderful 2022.
Nothing particularly special that I can note on the images,
although the LRS-1 can be made out in the far south, and Io's shadow was just leaving transit in the RGB.
