I had high hopes this morning with the recent jetstream wave having moved on.
Unfortunately unforecast low cloud and a breeze over the observatory meant that
I could only catch a few captures of Jupiter towards sunrise in poor seeing.
The GRS was setting on the lower right limb.

前回よりは少し気流が良くなりました。
金星との並びが印象的な朝でした

Here’s a set of RGB,IR & CH4 images in excellent seeing this morning. For me,
it’s about as good as it gets for an elongation <45deg!
This is the region just preceding the GRS - Oval BA and WS6 are rising,
and there's a paler structure on the southern EZ on the meridian, above a small white streak on the SEB.
I’m not sure if the patchy streak of material in the STZ p.
WS6 is at all related to DS7/Clyde’s Spot remnant or not?
The NEB looks relatively undramatic in this region in RGB,
but looks more disturbed in the IR & CH4 below the one dark barge amid patches of darkening in the mid-NEB.

Clear skies all,

木星と金星が接近して、どちらを撮像しようか・・・・、今季初として木星を撮像しましたが日の出時とあって、
さらに寒気が入っているようでSeeingが最悪状態でして・・・・・
